Shoot the Milky Way Over the Brunswick County Coast
A guided four-hour night photography experience for all skill levels. DSLR, mirrorless camera, or even your smartphone—I’ll show you how to capture the night sky.
Tripods provided.
Most people don’t realize the Milky Way is visible from Brunswick County for nearly half the year.
From April through September, the bright core of our galaxy rises over our beaches, marshes, and waterways. On a clear, moonless night away from heavy light pollution, you can actually see it with your own eyes. It won’t look quite like it does in a finished photograph—more like someone smudged the night sky—but it’s there.
The fun isn’t just photographing the Milky Way.
It’s finding beautiful places around Brunswick County to tell its story.
